I stayed at Berjaya Resort for 3 nights. The location is just wow! It’s like staying in the middle of jungle, but you still near the beach. We loved the sounds of nature at night and the view from our chalet was breathtaking. The monkeys were a fun surprise too, just be careful with your food.
The staff was friendly most of the time, but service was slow sometimes, especially at the restaurant. Breakfast was okay, not much variety for vegetarians tho. The shuttle service inside the resort was useful but sometimes we waited too long.
The room was clean and cozy, but the furniture looks a bit old. I think they need to renovate soon to keep up with other resorts in Langkawi. Wifi also didn’t work well in our room, had to come near the lobby.
Overall, we had a nice time and would maybe come back again, mostly for the unique nature experience. But still, few things need improvement.

A nice hotel with a magnificent territory. There is a shuttle service around the territory, a private beach, several restaurants with different cuisines and a coffee time with free snacks. There is beautiful nature around, and among the local inhabitants you can meet funny dusky leaf monkeys.

Facilities: The largest hotel I've ever stayed in, with more than a hundred independent cabins. The shuttle bus takes an average of 10 minutes to wait, which is actually OK. The mini bar in the room is free, with a box of potato chips, a bag of peanuts, 3 bottles of drinks and 2 bottles of beer. You can arrange some bird watching activities at the front desk, but it costs money.
